At NFI, we're committed to sharing the latest in films that matter to you and the work you are doing to help dads be the best fathers they can be!
King’s Faith is the story of a troubled, fatherless young man named Brendan King, who is trying to straighten his life out as his past continues to invade it. With the help of strong foster parents, especially his new foster father, Brendan works through his issues. On April 26, King’s Faith, a faith-based film from Faith Street Film Partners and Hopefilled Media, will hit theaters…and you can have a say in whether it will be shown in your community’s movie theatres!
The foster father, Mike (played by James McDaniel), is a great example of how a strong father can build confidence and resilience in his children. He shows the unique and irreplaceable traits a father brings to the parenting equation, especially for a “lost” boy looking for guidance from a responsible male role model. Watch the trailer below to get a sneak peak at the interactions between Mike and his foster son, Brendan.
If your organization works with adoptive or foster parents, troubled youth, in a faith-based setting, or any setting where you are seeking some inspirational content, this may be the film for you. Thankfully, the producers have given you the opportunity to bring the film to your community!
By visiting this website you can demand King’s Faith for your city. Collect 500 demands in your city, and the movie will come to you!
The benefit to your organization:
- An opportunity to take a group of fathers to the theater to see the film to be inspired around their roles as dads
- A way to get dads engaged in a project: a city needs 500 requests in order for the movie to come to that city. You can have the dads in your group go online to request the film to reach the goal.
- An opportunity to encourage the fathers you reach to see the film to receive inspiration around their roles
Look for King’s Faith in theaters – your theatres - on April 26! Learn more here.
