National Fatherhood Initiative® (NFI) is pleased to provide Finding Your Way: Guides for Fathers in Child Protection Cases, a collection of six guides available in both English and Spanish for use by fathers involved in child protection cases (child welfare cases) that you can download for FREE.

These four-page guides—available in English and Spanish—were produced by the National Quality Improvement Center on Non-Resident Fathers and the Child Welfare System (QIC-NRF), a five-year project (2006-2011) funded by the Children’s Bureau at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

The QIC-NRF was a partnership of three national organizations: NFI, American Humane Association, and the American Bar Association’s Center for Children and the Law. (Visit www.fatherhoodqic.org for more information on the QIC-NRF.)

Ideas for Use:

• Give "Your Rights and Responsibilities" to the fathers you serve. 
• Provide it to organizational staff who might find it useful to refer to when working with fathers - either as printed copies or PDFs on their computers.
